On our way to Crooked River Ranch in the Redmond, Oregon area we saw a tree just covered with shoes. It must be a legend in its own time. Most amazing.

The first thing we noticed on the way through Oregon was the high water. All the streams and rivers we either over their bank or real close to it.

The second thing we noticed was that in the Bend & Redmond, Oregon area you have beautiful mountains everywhere. While we all love Mount Rainier in Washington this area sports lots -- Three Sisters, Broken Top, Bachelor, Jefferson, and Washington to name a few. They are just as impressive too.

Our RV park at Crooked River was in this beautiful valley surrounded by craggy cliffs -- what a view every day when we went outside.

In Crooked River there are these little Pairie Dogs ??? that were all over the park. Had to be careful because they burrowed into the ground -- would not want to step in them and hurt yourself.

We also captured a picture of this herd of ???? what we thought was deer. They were on the golf course right next to the RV park. Turns out it was a herd of wild goats that meander all through the valley. Sure enough a closer look at the pictures and they were goats.

Then there was the red tailed hawk. It was absolutely beautiful. It lived not too far from the RV park.

Now there is some true flying fish!

I cannot describe this gate -- other that it was totally weird.

This is the most unusual golf course sign I have seen in our all travels.
