San Antonio - Part 2 - The River Walk
One place you can catch a boat is in the Riverwalk Mall. It is a great tourist attraction and after taking the boat tour I can see why. San Antonio have made it the place to see. And, for us seniors it is only $5 a person to take the boat.
There are old and new buildings, hotels and business along the river walk.
Because of the angle of this triangular building it looks like a single wall from the river. It is quite an optical illusion.
This crane as well as the ducks and squirrels have no fear of people along the walk.
At the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center this mural is on the facade of the Lila Cockrell Theater. The mural is called Confluence of Civilizations in the Americas was created by Juan O'Gorman as part of the 1968 HemisFair (the World's Fair).
