My teacher, Judy Cellars out of The Villages in Florida, recommended Roger Howell (http://www.thecarvingcorner.net/) as someone who makes great basket bases. This is the first one I have done with one of them. They are equisite. My basket coiling is still a little crude, however, I learn something new each time.
